Hawks 103, Bobcats 94

Al Horford scored 24 points as visiting Atlanta continued its dominance over Charlotte.

Horford shot 9-of-15 from the field to overcome a poor shooting night from the rest of the Atlanta starting lineup as the Hawks extended their winning streak over the Bobcats to nine games. Cartier Martin added 16 points in a reserve role while Jeff Teague poured in 14 points.

Josh McRoberts' 19 points led seven players in double figures for the Bobcats, who have lost back-to-back games. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist added 16 points.

Kidd-Gilchrist led all scorers with 10 points on 4-of-6 shooting as the Bobcats opened up a 29-26 lead after one quarter. Charlotte did just enough in the second quarter to keep Atlanta at bay, surging ahead by six on a McRoberts jumper and riding a Bismack Biyombo last-second dunk to a 54-46 edge at the break.

Atlanta took control in the third quarter, as Horford strung together six straight points during a momentum-shifting 14-0 run that spanned nearly 4 1/2 minutes. Martin added a pair of 3-pointers in the final minute of the quarter to extend the lead to double digits, and the Bobcats didn't get closer than five points the rest of the way.
