Russell Westbrook scored 26 points and Kevin Durant added 24 as Oklahoma City beat Milwaukee to avoid a three-game sweep on its road trip.

Serge Ibaka had 15 points and four blocks and tied a career-high with 20 rebounds for the Thunder, which defeated one of last season’s playoff teams for the first time. Reggie Jackson contributed 11 points off the bench.

O.J. Mayo scored 22 points as the Bucks lost their fifth game in a row. Khris Middleton added 14 points for his third straight game in double figures, and Ekpe Udoh had 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Durant and Westbrook each scored 15 points in the second half and combined for 21 points in the third quarter to help send Oklahoma City into the final period with a 72-65 lead. Milwaukee went scoreless over the first 4:40 of the fourth quarter and never seriously threatened.

Neither team did much to separate itself in a 40-40 first half. Westbrook had 11 points at the break on 4-of-8 shooting, but the rest of the Thunder went 11-of-41.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Mayo was 5-of-11 on 3-pointers, while the rest of the Bucks were 3-for-11. … Thunder C Kendrick Perkins returned from a two-game absence due to the death of his grandfather and had two points in 19 minutes. … Bucks C Zaza Pachulia had a team-high 13 rebounds and seven points.
