LeBron James collected 28 points, eight rebounds and eight assists and Dwyane Wade added 22 points as visiting Miami ran its winning streak to eight games.

Michael Beasley contributed 17 points and nine rebounds off the bench for the Heat, which beat Cleveland for the eighth straight time and the 11th in the last 12 meetings. Miami went just 4-for-19 from 3-point range but outscored the Cavaliers 50-28 in the paint.

Dion Waiters scored 24 points off the bench for the Cavaliers, who have lost four straight and seven of eight. Kyrie Irving added 16 points and Earl Clark scored 13 for Cleveland, which shot a meager 34.9 percent from the floor.

Cleveland led by as many as eight in the first quarter, but Miami trimmed it to six at the end of the period and scored the first 10 points of the second to open a 32-28 advantage. The Heat stretched it to 10 on James' three-point play with 58 seconds left in the half but settled for a 49-42 lead at the break.

Jarrett Jack's 3-pointer pulled the Cavaliers within 57-50 midway through the third quarter, but Cleveland didn't get that close again. Miami stretched it out to 70-60 entering the final stanza and didn't let the margin dip below eight in the fourth quarter.
