Markieff Morris scored 23 points and Goran Dragic had 19 points and nine assists as visiting Phoenix defeated Utah in the first of a back-to-back between the two clubs.

Eric Bledsoe added 19 points and three steals and Miles Plumlee contributed 15 points and 10 rebounds for the Suns, who won for the fourth time in five games. Channing Frye and Gerald Green tallied 13 points apiece for Phoenix, which will host Utah on Saturday.

Marvin Williams scored 18 points and Alec Burks added 16 for the Jazz, who drop to 2-15. Derrick Favors tallied 15 points and Trey Burke added 13 for Utah.

Phoenix shot 63.2 percent in the first half en route to a 62-51 lead at the break. Dragic had 17 points and six assists in the half while Morris tallied 13 points.

The Suns led 95-78 entering the final quarter but saw Utah move within 11 on a three-point play by Gordon Hayward with 2:57 remaining. Frye and Dragic responded with back-to-back baskets as Phoenix thwarted the charge.
