Kyrie Irving recorded a game-high 31 points and Dion Waiters scored 16 of his 21 in the fourth quarter as visiting Cleveland rallied to edge Orlando.
Anderson Varejao contributed 10 points, 14 rebounds and a pair of blocks for the Cavaliers, who won for only the second time in 12 road games. C.J. Miles added 10 points and Matthew Dellavedova had all nine of his in the final quarter for the Cavaliers.
Victor Oladipo matched his career high with 26 points for the Magic, who lost for the seventh time in eight games. Jameer Nelson and Arron Afflalo chipped in with 17 points each while Andrew Nicholson added 12 points and 10 rebounds before being ejected for pushing Varejao on a layup in the final seconds.
Oladipo collected 12 third-quarter points as the Magic led by three going to the fourth, but three straight baskets by Waiters gave Cleveland an 87-85 lead with 7:05 left. Dellavedova followed with two 3-pointers, sandwiching Tristan Thompson's hoop, to complete a 14-0 run as the Cavaliers led by 10 and held on from there.
The Magic registered 17 fast-break points in the first quarter to lead by as much as 14 before settling for a 28-19 edge after 12 minutes. Irving scored 16 in the opening half, including two late 3-pointers that helped pull Cleveland within 51-50 at intermission.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Irving, who also had five assists, scored at least 30 points for the fourth time this season. … Orlando F Tobias Harris, who had missed all but one game with an ankle injury, returned to the lineup and scored 10 points in 15 minutes while C Nikola Vucevic had 13 rebounds in his second game back from injury for the Magic. … Cleveland F Anthony Bennett, the first pick in the draft last summer, collected six points in his first game against the second selection Oladipo.
