Andre Drummond scored 18 of his 22 points in the first half and host Detroit held on to snap a three-game slide.

Drummond was 8-for-11 from the floor and grabbed 13 rebounds to complete his 17th double double. Greg Monroe also scored 22 points and collected 11 boards while Rodney Stuckey had 16 of his 17 in the opening half for the Pistons.

Deron Williams led the Nets with 22 points and nine assists. Andray Blatche chipped in 20 and Mirza Teletovic was 5-for-6 from long range en route to 17 points for Brooklyn, which had won three in a row.

Drummond had 16 of his points in the second quarter as Detroit outscored Brooklyn 38-20 to take a 17-point lead into the break. The lead grew to as many as 21 early in the fourth before Brooklyn made a charge, scoring 13 points in just over two minutes to pull within 91-81.

Blatche and Teletovic had all the points in a 7-0 burst that made it 98-93 with under three minutes to go and Williams hit three free throws to cut the Nets' deficit to four points in the final minute. After Monroe missed the second of two free throws Paul Pierce nailed a 3-pointer to make it 101-99, but Kyle Singler hit a pair from the line with 10.4 seconds left to finally ice it.
