Grizzlies 95, Knicks 87

Zach Randolph erupted for 25 points and 15 rebounds against his former team as Memphis toppled host New York.

Randolph shot 9-of-18 from the field while spearheading the Grizzlies' 56-29 edge on the boards. Tony Allen poured in 19 points and hauled in eight boards while Jerryd Bayless added 11 points in 14 minutes off the bench.

Carmelo Anthony's 30 points paced the Knicks, who fell to 4-10 at home. Tim Hardaway Jr. and J.R. Smith added 16 points apiece in defeat.

Memphis rode Allen's 13 points and a ridiculous 29-12 rebounding edge to a 50-40 lead at the break. The Grizzlies kept the Knicks in check throughout the third quarter, restoring the double-digit edge on Ed Davis' alley-oop layup with 3:21 left and cruising into the fourth up 72-61.

Memphis stretched the lead to 16 on seven straight points from Bayless, the last two coming on a pull-up jumper with 8:14 left that prompted a cascade of boos from the Madison Square Garden crowd. New York ripped off a 12-2 run that trimmed the deficit to nine with less than four minutes remaining, but Randolph replied with a short jumper, Allen added a layup following an Andrea Bargnani turnover and Memphis fended off a late New York rally.
