Paul George led a balanced attack with 16 points as visiting Indiana held off a late charge to defeat Cleveland for the ninth straight time.
Roy Hibbert scored 15 points and David West finished with 11 for the Pacers, who won for the seventh time in their last eight games despite shooting 36.4 percent. Lance Stephenson and Danny Granger added 10 points apiece for Indiana.
C.J. Miles led the Cavaliers with 21 points while Dion Waiters scored 12 of his 14 points in the fourth quarter. Tristan Thompson had 13 points and 10 rebounds and Anderson Varejao contributed 13 boards, helping Cleveland claim a 49-42 advantage on the glass.
The Pacers scored the final seven points of the third quarter and the first seven of the fourth to go up 74-58, but Waiters scored 12 straight points in a 16-1 run that got the hosts within a point with 3:35 left. It was still a one-point margin in the final minute before Hibbert split four free throws and Cleveland failed to chip away, missing two shots and seeing Earl Clark turn the ball over down three with 6.9 ticks remaining.
George had five points in a 9-0 second-quarter run that helped Indiana secure a 44-35 halftime advantage. Thompson made two free throws and Matthew Dellavedova buried a 3-pointer to get the Cavaliers within 60-58 before Indiana began the 14-0 run that stretched nearly three minutes into the fourth.
