76ers 95, Bobcats 92

Thaddeus Young's tiebreaking 3-pointer with 3.9 seconds remaining helped host Philadelphia end its four-game losing streak.

Evan Turner paced the 76ers with 23 points while Michael Carter-Williams added 20 points, eight rebounds and seven assists. Spencer Hawes added one of his best efforts of the season, racking up 17 points, 14 rebounds and seven assists for Philadelphia.

Kemba Walker's 26 points and eight assists paced the Bobcats, but he missed the potential game-tying 3-pointer at the buzzer as Charlotte fell for the ninth time in 11 games. Al Jefferson chipped in 24 points while Ramon Sessions had 11 off the bench for Charlotte.

Jefferson's 12 first-quarter points lifted Charlotte to a 27-24 advantage - but the 76ers made quick work of the deficit in the second. Back-to-back Turner baskets put Philadelphia ahead with 7:33 remaining in the half, and Carter-Williams' 3-pointer from the left wing extended the lead to double digits en route to a 53-45 advantage at the break.

Charlotte kept Philadelphia from pulling away in the third, rallying late in the period on a Cody Zeller layup and Walker's long jumper off a Jeff Adrien feed to lead 72-68 after three. The Bobcats used their lockdown defense - limiting Philadelphia to one field goal over the opening 5 1/2 minutes - to jump ahead near the midway point of the fourth, and the teams traded leads until Walker's 18-footer drew Charlotte even with 15.9 seconds left.
