Marvin Williams matched his season high with 23 points as host Utah stunned Miami to snap a four-game losing streak.

Richard Jefferson scored 14 points and Trey Burke added 13 for the Jazz, who held the Heat to 39 second-half points. Williams knocked down five 3-pointers and Burke made three as Utah went 10-of-25 from behind the arc.

Dwyane Wade scored 19 points for the Heat, who lost for just the second time in eight games. LeBron James had just 13 points on 4-of-13 shooting and Chris Bosh had 13 on 3-of-12 shooting.

The Jazz had an 87-79 lead after Williams beat the shot-clock buzzer with an off-balance 3-pointer with 3:33 remaining. Miami rallied to within 91-89 on Ray Allen’s 3-pointer with 46.8 seconds left but Burke drained a jumper with 24.2 seconds to go and Gordon Hayward made one free throw as the Heat didn’t score again.

Williams scored 15 first-half points and Utah led by as many as 14 in the first quarter before settling for a 52-50 lead at the break. The Jazz held Miami to 16 third-quarter points and took a 68-66 lead into the final stanza.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
Hayward had only nine points but contributed 11 assists, nine rebounds and three steals. … James committed five of Miami’s 10 turnovers. … Williams has recorded three straight 20-point outings after not having one previously this season.
