Hawks 102, Pacers 92: Jeff Teague got Atlanta started in the first quarter and finished off Indiana in the fourth in the Hawks' triumphant home opener.

Teague finished with 25 points and six assists for the Hawks (1-1), who were beaten by the top-seeded Pacers in a tough seven-game series in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs last season. Al Horford scored 14 of his 20 points in the second half and Paul Millsap added 13 as Atlanta shot 50.7 percent from the field.

Chris Copeland scored 21 points and hit six 3-pointers for the depleted Pacers (1-2), who have dropped two straight after an opening-night win against Philadelphia. Roy Hibbert had 14 points and 12 rebounds as Indiana played a third straight game without David West (ankle), George Hill (knee) and C.J. Watson (leg), and lost Rodney Stuckey with a foot injury in the first quarter.

Atlanta led throughout, but Horford scored six points in the first four minutes of the fourth quarter and Kyle Korver hit a 3-pointer for a 86-77 edge with 5:48 to play. Copeland countered with shots from the arc, and Donald Sloan brought the Pacers within three with three free throws with 1:42 left before Teague hit a short jumper and two free throws to seal it.

Teague scored 11 points in the first nine minutes as the Pacers jumped to a double-digit lead. A 3-pointer by Mike Scott pushed the edge to 17 before the Pacers got within 51-44 at the break.
