Mike Conley had 24 points and 11 assists and Courtney Lee scored 22 points as visiting Memphis improved to 5-0 by defeating Phoenix.

Marc Gasol had 18 points as the Grizzlies defeated the Suns for the fifth straight time while continuing their franchise-best start. Zach Randolph contributed 10 points and six rebounds while failing to record a double-double for the first time this season.

Eric Bledsoe scored 23 points on 9-of-12 shooting and Markieff Morris added 20 points for Phoenix. Isaiah Thomas tallied 15 points and P.J. Tucker grabbed 11 rebounds and had four steals.

Memphis led by five entering the fourth quarter and five straight points by Gasol gave the Grizzlies a 90-77 lead with 5:28 to play. Conley’s 3-pointer with 1:51 left made it a 14-point margin as the Suns were unable to make a late charge.

Bledsoe and Morris combined for 29 points on 11-of-11 shooting in the first half as Phoenix took a 52-46 lead into the break. Memphis used a 13-0 surge in the third quarter to take a five-point lead and later led by eight on Lee’s 3-pointer with 2:18 left before settling for a 76-71 advantage entering the final stanza.
