Bulls 100, Raptors 93

Pau Gasol collected 27 points, 11 rebounds and three blocks as visiting Chicago held off Toronto to stay undefeated on the road.

Jimmy Butler added 21 points, nine rebounds and six assists for the Bulls, who improved to 7-2. Derrick Rose scored nine of his 20 points from the free-throw line before sitting out the final two minutes with an apparent hamstring injury while Mike Dunleavy added 14 points for Chicago.

Kyle Lowry led the way with 20 points, eight rebounds and eight assists for the Raptors, who were held under 100 points for the first time this season. James Johnson chipped in with 16 points while DeMar DeRozan was limited to 10 points on 3-of-17 shooting.

Neither team led by more than three until James Johnson scored eight points during an 11-0 run to put the Raptors on top 33-25. Chicago turned the ball over 10 times in the second quarter, but Gasol scored the Bulls' final 13 points to single-handedly keep them within striking distance at 52-45 heading into intermission.

Gasol continued where he left off as he keyed a 13-4 run to put Chicago in front 58-56 before the Bulls closed out the third quarter with a 10-0 surge to stretch the margin to 14. Chicago led by as much as 18 before Amir Johnson's dunk cut the deficit to five with 1:44 left in the final frame, but the Bulls made five free throws down the stretch to stem the rally.
