DeMar DeRozan scored 27 points and Jonas Valanciunas had 17 and 14 rebounds as the host Raptors knocked off the Jazz.
Kyle Lowry added 19 points and Patrick Patterson scored 16 as Toronto improved to 6-1 at home. Lou Williams had 13 points as the Raptors won their 32nd consecutive home game when leading after three quarters.
Derrick Favors and Enes Kanter scored 18 points apiece for Utah, which finished 2-3 on a five-game road trip. Trey Burke and Gordon Hayward added 12 apiece but were a combined 7-of-25 shooting.
Utah led by a point after Hayward’s basket with 8:04 remaining before Toronto erupted with a 17-3 run to take control. During the surge, Greivis Vasquez capped a 7-0 run with a 3-pointer to give the Raptors an 89-83 lead with 6:22 to go, Williams drained a turnaround to make it a nine-point margin with 5:16 to play and DeRozan slammed home a dunk to make it 99-86 with 4:24 left.
Kanter had 13 first-half points to help the Jazz take a 49-46 lead at the break. DeRozan scored 11 in the third and the Raptors led by as many as seven in the quarter before taking a 76-72 lead into the final stanza.
