Pacers 99, Bulls 90: Luis Scola, Solomon Hill and A.J. Price scored 21 points apiece as visiting Indiana held off Chicago.

Hill added 12 rebounds, Scola grabbed 11 and Price, on a temporary contract because of extensive injuries to Indiana, shot 7-for-11 from the field for the Pacers. Chris Copeland added 13 points and Roy Hibbert finished with eight points, seven rebounds and three blocks for Indiana.

The Bulls played without starting point guard Derrick Rose (hamstring), but Jimmy Butler stepped up with a career-high 32 points. Kirk Hinrich added 15 and Pau Gasol 12 and six rebounds for Chicago.

The Pacers led by four entering the fourth quarter and Price’s three-point play with 10:58 left matched their largest lead of the game at 75-65. The Bulls made a late push to get within seven with just over two minutes remaining, but Hill’s 3-pointer with about 90 seconds on the clock extended the lead back to 12.

Indiana led by as many as 10 in the first half before settling for a 46-42 lead at the break. The Bulls kept chipping away and finally tied the score at 57 on a free throw by Butler with 4:56 left in the third quarter, but they were unable to get the lead.
