Klay Thompson scored 21 points and Stephen Curry had 19 points and nine assists as host Golden State drubbed Charlotte.
Harrison Barnes had 17 points and Andrew Bogut contributed 13 points and nine rebounds for the Warriors, who improved to 4-1 at home. Marreese Speights added 13 points off the bench for Golden State.
Al Jefferson scored 19 points and Lance Stephenson added 16 for the Hornets, who fell to 1-5 on the road. Cody Zeller collected 10 rebounds for Charlotte, which shot 38.1 percent from the field.
Thompson was 4-of-6 from 3-point range and Barnes was 3-of-5 as the Warriors were 11-of-26 overall. Curry also had three 3-pointers with Draymond Green knocking down the other one.
Golden State erupted on a 25-5 burst in the second quarter to open up a 25-point lead and took a 67-46 lead into the break. A 3-pointer by Thompson made it 84-57 just past the midway point of the third and a 3-pointer by Curry allowed the Warriors to take a 96-68 lead into the fourth quarter.
