Jamal Crawford scored 22 points off the bench and Blake Griffin added 20 as Los Angeles used a big run in the second half to slip past host Orlando.
Chris Paul collected 16 points and nine assists and Matt Barnes scored 13 for the Clippers, who bridged the third and fourth quarters with a 31-9 run that turned a close game into a rout. Jordan Farmar scored a season-high 13 points off the bench and DeAndre Jordan grabbed 11 rebounds for Los Angeles.
Tobias Harris scored 25 points while Nikola Vucevic recorded 19 points and 14 rebounds for the Magic. Channing Frye added 10 points and seven boards as Orlando fell for the second time in three games.
The Clippers knocked down 6-of-10 from 3-point range to help them take a 56-48 lead into the break but the Magic stayed close in the third, drawing within 69-63 on Harris’ 3-pointer with 4:03 to play. Los Angeles responded with a 15-5 run closing the period, led by a pair of 3-pointers from Crawford, to stretch the gap to 16 points heading into the fourth.
The surge continued into the fourth as Spencer Hawes and Farmar hit back-to-back 3-pointers on the first two possessions and Farmar’s jumper pushed the edge to 100-72 with 7:43 left. The starters never had to get back off the bench as the Clippers cruised to the finish.
