Warriors 98, Magic 97

Stephen Curry buried a go-ahead 3-pointer with 2.2 seconds left and finished with 22 points as Golden State edged visiting Orlando to pick up its 10th straight win.

The Warriors elected not to call timeout and Curry came up the right side before crossing over to the left and stepping back to nail the deep 3-pointer from the wing. Klay Thompson added 20 points, six rebounds and five assists while Harrison Barnes collected 14 points and a season-high 12 rebounds for Golden State.

Victor Oladipo scored a season-high 27 points and Kyle O’Quinn recorded season highs of 21 points and 11 rebounds for the Magic, who fell for the fifth time in six games. Tobais Harris chipped in 17 points and seven rebounds for Orlando.

Andre Iguodala’s jumper opening the fourth quarter tied it at 75 but the Magic responded with a 9-2 run and led 93-84 after Oladipo’s 3-pointer with 4:11 to play. Curry buried a 3-pointer and Thompson hit two more to knot it at 93 with 2:17 left, and Harris’ basket with 38 seconds left put Orlando in front 97-95 before Curry connected.

The Warriors ended the second quarter with an 18-4 burst to take a 56-46 lead into the break and led 65-53 after Green’s free throws with 7:39 left in the third. The Kings used their own 18-4 spurt to take back the lead and went into the fourth with a two-point edge.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
Golden State C Andrew Bogut matched a season-high with five blocks to go with 12 rebounds and seven points. … The Warriors are one win away from matching the longest streak in team history set in the 1971-72 season. … Magic C Nikola Vucevic (back spasms) was scratched from the lineup.
