Dwyane Wade scored a season-high 29 points and had seven assists as visiting Miami knocked off Utah.
Chris Bosh added 22 points and nine rebounds as the Heat won for only the second time in seven games. Luol Deng added 14 points as Miami moved within a game of .500.
Enes Kanter scored a season-high 25 points and Gordon Hayward had 18 points and eight rebounds for the Jazz, who have lost 10 of their last 11 games. Alec Burks added 16 points and Rudy Gobert had nine points, 11 rebounds and a career-best five blocked shots.
The Jazz were within one point early in the fourth quarter before Miami used a 9-2 surge to take an eight-point lead on a 3-pointer by Mario Chalmers with 7:18 to play. Utah moved within 95-93 on Hayward’s driving hoop with 10.2 seconds left and was down three with a chance to tie with 5.2 seconds left but was unable to inbound the ball and drew a five-second violation.
Miami shot 62.9 percent from the field in the first half while taking a 62-47 lead. Utah held the Heat to 16 points in the third quarter and rallied from a 16-point deficit to pull within 78-74 entering the final stanza.
