LaMarcus Aldridge had 19 points and 14 rebounds as visiting Portland handed Indiana its eighth straight defeat.
Damian Lillard scored 18 points and Nicolas Batum added 14 as the Trail Blazers snapped a two-game losing streak. Wesley Matthews tallied 12 points and Chris Kaman scored 10 off the bench.
C.J. Watson scored a season-high 23 points and went 4-of-5 from 3-point range to lead the Pacers. Rodney Stuckey added 14 points and a season-best 14 rebounds, David West scored 12 points and Roy Hibbert had 10 points and 10 rebounds.
The Trail Blazers led by 20 at halftime and furthered the assault with a 9-0 burst early in the third quarter. But Portland went cold in the fourth quarter, missing 13 of 14 shots over the first 7 1/2 minutes as the Pacers pulled within 84-76 before the Trail Blazers found the mark during an 11-4 run that boosted the lead to 15 with 58 seconds left.
Indiana led after the opening quarter before Portland began taking control with an 11-2 run. Joel Freeland’s basket gave the Trail Blazers a 44-30 edge midway through the second quarter and the lead reached 58-38 at the break.
