Derrick Favors had 23 points and 10 rebounds as Utah knocked off Orlando to win consecutive road games for the first time in more than year.
Gordon Hayward added 20 points and six assists for the Jazz, who beat the Miami Heat on Wednesday. Trey Burke and Enes Kanter scored 11 points apiece as Utah improved to 4-10 on the road.
Tobias Harris scored 24 points and Evan Fournier added 21 for the Magic, who have lost five of six games. Nikola Vucevic contributed 16 points and nine rebounds and rookie Elfrid Payton had 11 points and a season-best 11 assists.
The Magic trailed by 15 entering the final stanza and moved within 89-83 on Harris’ three-point play with 5:28 remaining. A basket by Hayward gave the Jazz a 10-point advantage with 2:24 left and Orlando couldn’t get closer than six down the stretch.
Utah shot 59.5 percent from the field in the first half while taking a 49-43 advantage. The Jazz increased the lead to 17 late in the third quarter before settling for an 81-66 lead entering the final stanza.
