Nets 96, Bulls 82

Brook Lopez marked his return to the starting lineup with a season-high 29 points as visiting Brooklyn ended Chicago's winning streak at seven games.

Joe Johnson finished with 20 points and a season-high 11 rebounds as the Nets won for the fifth time in six games. Jarrett Jack and Alan Anderson had 11 points apiece for Brooklyn.

Mike Dunleavy scored 23 points on 9-of-15 shooting for the Bulls while his fellow starters went 15-for-49 from the floor. Derrick Rose was 2-for-15 and backcourt mate Jimmy Butler 3-for-12 as Chicago saw its six-game home winning streak snapped.

Dunleavy scored 12 points in the first quarter as Chicago claimed a 31-24 lead but the Bulls were 6-for-27 from the floor in the second while Johnson went off for 14 and Brooklyn led 55-45 at the break. Dunleavy hit two 3-pointers early in the third and the Bulls were within five midway through the period before seven points by Lopez and a 3-pointer by Jack helped the Nets build a 75-62 lead.

Mason Plumlee's basket at the buzzer made it 84-69 entering the final 12 minutes and Chicago had only two points on Taj Gibson's basket in the first seven-plus minutes of the fourth. The Bulls, who had 11 points in the fourth quarter Monday against Indiana, had 13 in this one, nine of which came in the final three minutes.
