Monta Ellis led a balanced attack with 20 points as Dallas easily turned away visiting Washington.

Richard Jefferson and Charlie Villanueva each scored 14 points off the bench and Chandler Parsons added 14 as well for the Mavericks, who won their third straight. Dirk Nowitzki contributed 13 points and eight rebounds, Rajon Rondo scored 11 points and Tyson Chandler grabbed 12 boards for Dallas.

John Wall collected 11 points and eight assists for the Wizards, who were playing the second night of a back-to-back after beginning a five-game road trip with a tight win at Houston on Monday. Bradley Beal, who scored a season-high 33 points against the Rockets, slumped to 10 points on 4-of-14 shooting for Washington.

The Wizards were within four points early in the second quarter when Jefferson nailed a 3-pointer to kick off an 11-2 burst that pushed the advantage to 45-32 midway through the stanza. Ellis scored on back-to-back possessions and Parsons buried a jumper at the buzzer to extend the gap to 63-45 at the break.

Rondo’s basket just over five minutes into the third made it a 75-50 lead and it would remain a 25-point cushion at the end of the period. Villanueva’s 3-pointer gave the Mavericks a 98-70 cushion as the starters spent most of the final stanza on the bench.
