Markieff Morris scored 21 points and Gerald Green added 21 off the bench as host Phoenix beat Philadelphia for its seventh victory in nine games.

Eric Bledsoe added 17 points and eight assists as the Suns defeated the 76ers for the fifth consecutive time. Isaiah Thomas had 12 points, six rebounds and five assists and Goran Dragic was just 3-of-13 shooting while recording 10 points, 10 rebounds and three steals.

Tony Wroten scored 28 points and Michael Carter-Williams had 17 points and seven rebounds for Philadelphia, which lost its fourth straight game. Henry Sims scored 16 on 6-of-7 shooting, Luc Richard Mbah a Moute contributed 12 points and eight rebounds and Robert Covington added 10 points and a career-best five steals.

The Suns led by five entering the fourth quarter before an 11-2 burst – capped by Green’s 3-pointer – made it 95-81 with 8:07 remaining. A 3-pointer by Bledsoe pushed the lead to 16 with 3:08 to play and Phoenix cruised to the finish.

The Suns led by 10 points midway through the second quarter before the 76ers closed with a 16-4 surge for a 59-57 halftime advantage. Phoenix scored the first eight of the third quarter and led by 12 late in the period before settling for an 84-79 lead entering the final stanza.
