Hawks 120, Wizards 89: Kyle Korver hit five 3-pointers en route to 19 points as red-hot Atlanta downed visiting Washington to earn its eighth straight win.
DeMarre Carroll scored 16 points and Al Horford added 15 points and six rebounds for the Hawks, who went 16-of-31 from 3-point range. Pero Antic chipped in with 12 points off the bench and Jeff Teague contributed 11 points, 10 assists and four steals for Atlanta, which had eight players finish in double figures.
John Wall scored 15 points and dished out eight assists but committed eight of the Wizards' 20 turnovers. Nene collected 14 points and six rebounds while Kevin Seraphin tallied 13 points, six rebounds and four assists off the bench for Washington, which was outscored 33-12 in the fourth quarter.
Antic and Carroll knocked down back-to-back 3-pointers as part of a 17-2 run to put the Hawks on top 85-69 before the Wizards trimmed the deficit to seven early in the fourth quarter. Korver, Thabo Sefolosha and Horford all nailed triples during a 17-1 run to help Atlanta pull away 106-83, and the Hawks coasted the rest of the way to open up a four-game lead over Washington atop the Southeast Division standings.
Teague scored seven points as Atlanta jumped to a 21-8 lead, and Korver hit a jumper to push the margin to 20 early in the second quarter. Paul Pierce drilled a 3-pointer to trim the deficit to 49-40 and Washington clawed its way back to within 55-50 at intermission.
