Stephen Curry scored 15 of his 27 points in the third quarter and added 11 assists as Golden State extended its winning streak to seven straight by streaking past host Utah.
Draymond Green scored 15 points and Harrison Barnes had eight of his 12 in the decisive third quarter as the Warriors put up a season-high 44 points in the period. Klay Thompson added 12 points and Marreese Speights and David Lee each scored 10 off the bench as Golden State went 13-of-25 from beyond the arc.
Derrick Favors collected 22 points and 11 rebounds and Rudy Gobert had 16 points, 11 boards and three blocks off the bench for the Jazz. Enes Kanter recorded a double-double as well with 13 points and 10 rebounds while Gordon Hayward scored 17 points for Utah.
The Jazz held a lead for most of the first half and went into the break tied at 53 before the Warriors busted out of the break with an 8-2 spurt highlighted by Curry’s four-point play. Utah made a brief run to cut it to 76-70 with 4:47 left in the third but Thompson and Green each buried a 3-pointer as Golden State scored on five consecutive possessions to push it out to 88-72.
Speights beat the buzzer with his first 3-pointer of the season and 15th of his career to cap the third and Andre Iguodala’s dunk made it a 103-83 gap with 9:45 remaining. Speights’ jumper restored the 20-point cushion with 4:50 left as the Warriors coasted to the finish.
