Cavaliers 106, Jazz 92: LeBron James recorded 26 points, nine assists, seven rebounds and four steals as Cleveland downed visiting Utah to win its fourth straight game.
Kevin Love added 19 points and 13 rebounds while Kyrie Irving tallied 18 points and five steals for the Cavaliers, who had all five starters score in double figures for the second consecutive game. Timofey Mozgov collected 16 points and 11 rebounds while J.R. Smith had 15 points and seven boards for Cleveland, which shot 51.9 percent from the floor.
Enes Kanter produced 24 points and a season-high 17 rebounds for the Jazz, who have lost four consecutive road games. Gordon Hayward chipped in 14 points, five rebounds and four assists while Derrick Favors and Elijah Millsap each had 12 points for Utah, which turned the ball over 20 times.
James converted a three-point play and Smith scored six points as part of a 15-3 surge to end the first quarter to put the Cavaliers on top 31-20. Shawn Marion capped a 10-1 burst with a dunk to push the margin to 18 and James led all scorers with 15 first-half points to give Cleveland a 53-40 lead at intermission.
James slammed home an outlet pass from Love during a 12-2 run to help the Cavaliers pull away 70-46 and they led by as much as 28 before settling for an 82-62 advantage heading into the fourth quarter. Utah pulled within 12 before Love and Mozgov responded with back-to-back baskets to give Cleveland some breathing room at 97-81 and improve to 11-0 at Quicken Loans Arena when scoring 100 or more points.
