Clippers 120, Suns 100
Chris Paul scored 16 of his 23 points in the second half and added 12 assists and eight rebounds as visiting Los Angeles prevailed.
Blake Griffin had 23 points and seven rebounds for the Clippers, who have won four straight and 10 of 13. J.J. Redick scored 20 points and DeAndre Jordan added 18 points, 14 rebounds and four blocks as Los Angeles shot 10-of-23 from the arc and improved to 3-0 against Phoenix this season.
Reserve Isaiah Thomas scored 25 points and Eric Bledsoe added 17 for the Suns, who have dropped two straight after winning eight of 10. Alex Len scored 15 points as Phoenix shot 14-of-22 in the second quarter but just 20-of-58 the rest of the game.
Thomas converted a layup and two 3-pointers and Gerald Green drained a shot from the arc to cap an 11-1 run that got Phoenix within 96-94 with 7 1/2 minutes left. However, Paul responded with four points, an assist and a steal and Redick drained a 3-pointer during a 15-0 run that put the game away.
Marcus Morris scored the Suns' first 11 points of the second quarter and Goran Dragic added 10 and five assists during the 41-point quarter as Phoenix turned a seven-point deficit after one into a 57-55 lead at the break. Paul had eight points and three assists, including a pair on Spencer Hawes' 3-pointers, during a 22-8 burst that provided Los Angeles an 85-72 lead with 1:52 left in the third.
