Stephen Curry had 25 points and seven assists and Klay Thompson added 22 points as host Golden State knocked off Phoenix.
Leandro Barbosa had 14 points on 7-of-11 shooting and Harrison Barnes added 13 points and eight rebounds for the Warriors, who recorded a home win over the Suns for the sixth consecutive time. Andre Iguodala scored 12 points and Draymond Green collected 11 rebounds.
Markieff Morris had 17 points and 11 rebounds and Eric Bledsoe added 16 points for the Suns. Isaiah Thomas scored 13 points but Goran Dragic struggled to 10 points on 4-of-15 shooting and committed seven turnovers.
Thompson’s three-point play gave Golden State an 89-77 lead with 6:12 remaining before Barnes knocked down a 3-pointer to make it an 18-point margin with 3:32 to play. The Suns were just 6-of-21 shooting during a 17-point fourth quarter and finished at 36.3 percent.
Curry had 19 first-half points as Golden State led 52-51 at the break. Iguodala’s 3-pointer capped an 11-2 burst that saw the Warriors take an 11-point lead late in the third quarter before settling for a 78-70 advantage entering the final stanza.
