Bulls 107, Pelicans 72: Pau Gasol recorded 20 points and 15 rebounds for his league-leading 32nd double-double as visiting Chicago pulled away after Anthony Davis injured his right shoulder in the second quarter.

Derrick Rose added 20 points and Tony Snell went 5-of-6 from 3-point range en route to a season-high 19 points off the bench for the Bulls, who shot 51.2 percent from the field. Jimmy Butler collected 18 points and five assists for Chicago, which held New Orleans to 33 points in the second half.

Tyreke Evans led the way with 15 points for the Pelicans, who could not survive 37.2 percent shooting. Davis contributed eight points and five rebounds before landing awkwardly on his shoulder after an alley-oop. Eric Gordon and Ryan Anderson were limited to a combined seven points on 2-of-21 shooting.

Butler's dunk put the Bulls on top 75-46 and his jumper just before the third-quarter buzzer gave Chicago a commanding 25-point advantage. Snell matched a career high with his fifth 3-pointer of the game to extend the lead to 90-58 as the Bulls coasted the rest of the way to snap a three-game losing skid.

The Pelicans led 20-18 after the first quarter before Rose and Gasol each scored four points as part of a 12-2 run to end the second stanza and provide the Bulls a 48-39 lead. Snell drained two 3-pointers and scored at the rim as Chicago opened up the third quarter with a 20-3 run to pull ahead 68-42.
