Smith hit his first four shots - including a 3-pointer - to keep Philadelphia close early on before a 10-0 burst midway through the second quarter put the Pacers up 50-34. It was a 13-point margin at the break but a pair of triples and a layup by Covington got the 76ers within 65-58 with six minutes left in the third.
Philadelphia stayed close with a 3-pointer by Isaiah Canaan and a basket by Richardson to create an 81-74 game with 6:49 left. The 76ers would never score again as both Hibbert and Hill scored four points apiece in a game-ending 13-0 run that turned it into a rout.
