Bucks 91, Wizards 85

Khris Middleton made six 3-pointers en route to a career-high 30 points, including a go-ahead basket in the final minute, as host Milwaukee survived a second-half rally from Washington.

Michael Carter-Williams had 12 points and nine assists for the Bucks, who snapped a season-high four-game losing streak and a four-game skid against the Wizards. Jerryd Bayless scored 13 off the bench and Ersan Ilyasova added 10 while Giannis Antetokounmpo was limited to five points on 2-of-10 shooting.

Paul Pierce scored 14 points to lead the Wizards, who were without guard Bradley Beal (leg). John Wall finished with 11 points on 3-of-14 shooting along with nine rebounds and six assists as Washington lost its ninth straight road game.

Milwaukee led by 17 after a Middleton 3-pointer with 8:53 left in the third quarter, but Washington hit four straight triples during a 16-1 burst - the last two by Pierce - to cut it to 61-59 midway through the period. After six lead changes in the final six minutes, it was tied at 84 when Zaza Pachulia corralled a Middleton miss and fed it back to him for a 3-pointer from the left wing with 40.8 seconds left, and Bayless sealed it with four free throws down the stretch.

Middleton alone outscored the Wizards 12-8 over the first 7 1/2 minutes as the Bucks built an early 12-point lead and were up 30-19 after one period. Washington's shooting woes continued in the second quarter but Milwaukee was only able to extend the lead to 51-39 at the break.
