Kyle Korver made six 3-pointers while scoring 20 points and DeMarre Carroll also scored 20 as host Atlanta routed Sacramento to become the first team to reach 50 victories.

Jeff Teague had 18 points and 13 assists and Al Horford also scored 18 points as the Hawks defeated the Kings for the 13th consecutive time. Paul Millsap added 13 points and Dennis Schroder contributed 12 points and eight assists as Atlanta made 20 3-pointers and posted an NBA season-best 42 assists.

Rudy Gay scored 23 points for the Kings, who dropped to 1-4 on an eight-game road trip. Ray McCallum scored 15 points and DeMarcus Cousins had 12 points, 14 rebounds and six assists as Sacramento dropped to 3-7 since George Karl became coach.

Atlanta raced out to a 13-point first-quarter lead and then cranked things up in the second with 43 points. Teague’s 3-pointer made it 50-31 with 6:24 left in the second quarter and his hoop with two seconds left made it 76-54 leading into the break.

Carroll had all 20 of his points in the first half and Atlanta was 12-of-19 from 3-point range. The Hawks reached 100 points on Teague’s 3-pointer with 3:02 left in the third quarter and continued to control the contest while shooting 60.2 percent from the field.
