Lakers 101, 76ers 87

Jeremy Lin made 10-of-16 from the field and scored a season-high 29 points as Los Angeles pulled away from visiting Philadelphia to snap a four-game losing streak.

Jordan Hill contributed 12 points and eight rebounds for the Lakers, who outscored the 76ers 27-12 in the fourth quarter. Wayne Ellington, Wesley Johnson and Jabari Brown each added 10 points as Los Angeles won for only the second time in their last 11 contests while holding Philadelphia to 36 percent from the field.

Thomas Robinson recorded 14 points and eight rebounds while Luc Richard Mbah a Moute scored 13 for the 76ers, who lost their 15th consecutive road contest. Robert Covington chipped in with 11 points, Hollis Thompson scored 10 and Ish Smith added nine points and nine assists for Philadelphia.

Lin had four baskets, including the final two, as the Lakers ran off 14 of the first 16 points in the fourth quarter to take an 88-77 lead with just under six minutes left. Lin drained two free throws and made another jumper to push the lead to 94-79 with 4:18 to go and Philadelphia could not respond.

Covington and Jelani Grant hit back-to-back 3-pointers and Robinson followed with a basket as the 76ers built a 10-point lead early in the second quarter and settled for a 47-41 edge at intermission. Lin scored nine points in the third quarter as the Lakers cut their deficit to 75-74 going into the final 12 minutes.
