Klay Thompson scored 22 of his 25 points in the second half and added eight rebounds as visiting Golden State came from behind to stun Los Angeles.
Stephen Curry scored 27 points on 8-of-15 shooting and David Lee added 17 for the Warriors, who have won 10 in a row. Marreese Speights scored 13 points off the bench as Golden State clinched a 3-1 win in the season series.
Blake Griffin collected 40 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Clippers, who had a seven-game winning streak come to an end. Chris Paul recorded 27 points and nine assists, J.J. Redick scored 14 and DeAndre Jordan grabbed 15 rebounds for Los Angeles.
The Warriors opened the fourth quarter with a 9-0 run to grab their largest lead at 91-88 and it went back and forth down the stretch, with Paul’s free throws knotting it at 100 with 3:11 to play. Andre Iguodala was fouled beyond the line and hit all three free throws with 1:09 left to put Golden State in front 106-102, and Curry and Thompson each knocked down a pair in the final 11.6 seconds.
The Clippers came out hot and led 44-27 with 4:58 left in the first half before Curry’s four-point play sparked a surge that cut the deficit to 53-46 at the break. Redick’s 3-pointer pushed the lead back to 10 points early in the third but Thompson and Curry combined to score the Warriors next 19 points, with Thompson’s 3-pointer knotting it at 67.
