Bucks 94, Nets 86

MILWAUKEE -- Center Greg Monroe scored 20 points and guard Jerryd Bayless added 19 off the bench the Milwaukee Bucks extended their winning streak to four games with a 94-86 victory over the Brooklyn Nets Saturday night at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.

Monroe hit 8 of 16 shots and was 4-for-5 from the free throw line but failed to record a double-double for the first time this season, finishing with eight rebounds.

Bayless scored 14 of his points in the second half, as the Bucks broke a 55-55 halftime tie with a 23-point third quarter and took a 78-72 lead into the fourth.

Shooting guard Khris Middleton chipped in with 14 points for the Bucks (4-3) including three 3-pointers and also added nine rebounds and seven assists in 33 minutes.

Center Brook Lopez had 20 points to lead the winless Nets (0-7), but only four of those came in the second half and he missed most of the fourth quarter with a sore right foot.

Brooklyn shot 41 percent (34-of-82) and was 3-for-9 from beyond the arc. The Nets turned the ball over 18 times, which the Bucks converted into 24 points.

Milwaukee went 7-for-21 from the field in the opening quarter but made 10 of 19 in the second to take a 55-55 tie into halftime.

Middleton hit a pair of 3-pointers in the third as the Bucks pulled ahead by six and led by as many as 17 over the final 12 minutes.

NOTES: Bucks F Jabari Parker was in the starting lineup again Saturday, marking the first time he started games on consecutive nights since returning from a torn ACL suffered last January. ... The two teams met Monday at Barclays Center where the Bucks scored the final nine points for a 103-96 victory. ... Brooklyn has lost 10 of the last 14 meetings with the Bucks. ... The Nets are one of only three winless teams in the league, joining Philadelphia and New Orleans, which both are 0-6. ... Bucks head coach Jason Kidd led the Nets to back-to-back NBA Finals appearances during seven seasons as a player and a 44-38 record as the team's head coach in the 2013-14 season.
