Warriors 114, Nets 98

NEW YORK -- Guard Stephen Curry scored 11 of his 28 points in the final 2:10 of the third quarter and the Golden State Warriors stayed unbeaten with a 114-98 victory over the Brooklyn Nets Sunday night.

The Warriors are now 22-0.

Guard Klay Thompson added 21 points and combined with Curry to shoot 19-of-35 overall and 8-of-19 from 3-point range. Forward Draymond Green approached his fifth career triple-double, finishing with 22 points, nine rebounds and seven assists.

Reserve center Festus Ezeli added 12 points and guard Leandro Barbosa contributed eight of his 11 early in the fourth as Golden State shot 51 percent and made 14-of-33 3-pointers while getting a standing ovation from most of the fans at Barclays Center after the final buzzer.

Forward Thaddeus Young scored 25 points and center Brook Lopez added 18 for Brooklyn, which lost by eight in overtime on Nov. 14 in Golden State after Lopez missed a potential game-winner in regulation. Guard Jarrett Jack, who hit the game-winner over the Warriors March 2, was held to 11 points while forward Joe Johnson was limited to nine points.

The Warriors won their 26th straight regular-season game dating to April 9 and improved to 12-0 on the road. They outran the Nets at the start and at the finish, but in between little was easy.

The Warriors scored the first nine points and took a 25-8 lead. They held a 57-42 lead late in the first half but settled for a 57-54 lead after giving up 12 straight points.

Golden State's streak appeared threatened when the Nets took a trio of five-point leads in the third. The last five-point lead was 75-70 on a 3-pointer by guard Shane Larkin with 3:10 left.

Curry started his spree a minute later when he hit a driving bank shot for a 76-76 deadlock. On the next possession, he gave the Warriors the lead for good with an uncontested 3-pointer and finished the quarter by finding Ezeli for an alley-oop dunk before converting a 3-point play and knocking down a 3-pointer with 1.9 seconds left.

Holding an 87-80 lead entering the fourth, the Warriors quickly pulled away while Curry and Thompson rested. They reached the century mark for the 22nd straight time when reserve forward Marreese Speights converted a three-point play with 8:12 remaining for a 101-89 lead and expanded the lead to 106-89 when Curry and Thompson returned with 6:01 remaining.
