Denver Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas didn't seem injured in Thursday's season opener against the Carolina Panthers. However, the star pass catcher reportedly underwent an MRI on a trouble hip the following day. Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, Thomas and the Broncos are sending said MRI out for a second opinion.
It's hard to read a lot into this, as they could have requested a second opinion regardless of what the original diagnosis was. We'll provide updates when they become available.
