In an ongoing legal drama that never seems to end, a new chapter opened on Friday morning. The Second Circuit Court granted Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott his temporary stay this morning, allowing Elliott to play in Week 9 against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Elliott, who lost his case in a New York district court earlier this week and was expected to begin serving his six-game suspension, missed two days of practice this week but will be cleared to suit up against Kansas City for Sunday's game. The Chiefs enter Week 9 with the 31st-ranked run defensive in the NFL according to DVOA, so this will be a great matchup for him. There is no update on his status for future weeks, but fantasy owners will at least have him for Week 9.
