As expected, New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is officially inactive for Sunday night's season opener against the Dallas Cowboys. OBJ has been dealing with an ankle sprain he suffered during Week 3 of the preseason and has not been able to practice. 

While the star receiver did make the trip with his team to Dallas, most figured he would be an inactive here. 

With OBJ out of action, look for Sterling Shepard and rookie tight end Evan Engram to step it up against a weak Dallas pass defense.
