In a pretty big twist regarding the entire Eric Decker injury situation, the New York Jets announced that their No. 2 receiver underwent season-ending hip surgery on Tuesday. This comes on the heels of Decker being placed on IR with a separate shoulder injury (torn rotator cuff).

While the shoulder injury itself might have ended Decker's season, there's now growing concern he might miss the 2017 campaign. Decker cannot undergo surgery on the shoulder until he's recovered from the hip surgery, pushing back his recovery time for at least six months.
