After the New York Giants said they would stand by kicker Josh Brown and not discipline him following released documents that indicated he abused his wife on numerous occassions, it was announced on Friday that Brown was placed on the commissioner/exempt list by the NFL.

ESPN's Chris Mortensen reported that Brown has played his last snap for the Giants. Brown's NFL career is almost certainly over.
