Patriots WR Phillip Dorsett Active For Season Opener Thursday Night

Recently acquired New England Patriots wide receiver Phillip Dorsett will be active for the team's game Thursday night against the Kansas City Chiefs less than a week after the defending champs acquired him from Indianapolis for Jacoby Brissett. This was made possible after New England placed second-year pass catcher Malcolm Mitchell on injured reserve earlier on Thursday.

Dorsett, a first-round pick of the Colts back in 2015, recorded 33 receptions for 528 yards and two touchdowns last season. From a fantasy perspective, we should take a wait-and-see approach. Brandin Cooks, Chris Hogan and Rob Gronkowski remain the Patriots' three most relevent fantasy options in the passing game.
