The Philadelphia Eagles could be without tight end Zach Ertz for a couple week after the pass catcher suffered what's being called a rib displacement. Eagles head coach Doug Pederson indicated after Philadelphia's season-opening win against the Cleveland Browns that Ertz is considered "week to week."
Ertz is being relied on as a potential top-five fantasy tight end after putting up a stellar 2015 performance. Now in Pederson's tight end-friendly offense, that's taken a whole new level. Should he miss substantial time, it would be a big blow to those who picked him up in re-draft and dyno leagues.
Zach Ertz has a rib displacement, is week-to-week. So status in question. Not a broken bone, but rib displaced itself. — Zach Berman (@ZBerm) September 12, 2016
