An extra few days of rest proved to be all Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Sammy Watkins needed. After Watkins suffered a concussion during Thursday Night Football in Week 3, a few extra days off in addition to the normal week allowed him enough time to make it through the concussion protocol. As a resulted, he will suit up for a great matchup against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.
Watkins, who exploded in Week 3 for 106 receiving yards and two touchdowns, should take advantage of a depleted Cowboys' secondary that has shown throughout the season it can be exploited by wide receivers. Just last week, Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald torched them for 149 receiving yards and a touchdown. While Watkins carries more volatility given Los Angeles tendency to spread the ball around, the chemistry with Jared Goff is growing and it could help Watkins turn in a top-15 performance.
