The New Orleans Saints were dealt a tough blow during Monday's practice. Defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins, the 12th overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, was carted off the field after he suffered an injury during a goal line drill. Now NFL Network's Ian Rapoport has reported that initial tests revealed Rankins suffered a fractured fibula, which could cost him six-plus weeks. He could be a candidate for the Injured Reserve/Designated to Return.
