The words every NFL fan has long waited for have arrived. "Deflategate" has ended two years after it all started. Just days after Tom Brady's suspension appeal was denied by the U.S. 2nd Circus Court, Brady announced on Facebook that he would drop the appeal and serve his four-game suspension.
This news of course means that Brady will serve a four-game suspension to start the season and Jimmy Garoppolo will start the first four games. Garoppolo will start the season against the Arizona Cardinals, a strong defense that will provide fantasy owners a chance to see how much they could trust Garoppolo in following matchups against the Miami Dolphins, Houston Texans and Buffalo Bills.
Brady's first game back from the suspension will be on October 9 as the Patriots head to Cleveland to face the Browns. Given how long the process has played out and the type of chip the Patriots will play with on their shoulder, that could be an ugly day for the Browns.
