2014 NFL Draft: Losers From Day One

1. MIami Dolphins: Miami had the option of choosing Brandin Cooks, Dee Ford, Morgan Moses, or Cyrus Kouandjio. They ended up with the 50th ranked JaWaun James who was regarded as a early third round pick. A guy like Brandin Cooks would of helped them stretch the field a little bit more with him and Wallace. I don't think this will go down as the worst pick in the last 5 years, but with this being a deep draft it is hard to justify this.

2. Philadelphia Eagles: The Eagles traded out of the 22nd pick to draft Marcus Smith a outside linebacker with a third round grade. Guys like Jeremiah Attaochu, DeMarcus Lawrence, and even Kyle Van Noy seemed to be better picks at this slot. Smith is not an awful player, but he is not an immediate impact player.

3. Tennesse Titans: The Titans could of and should have went with Teddy, Johnny Football, or Derek Carr and decided to bore their fan base with an Taylor Lewan an offensive lineman from Notre Dame. I believe Lewan is a stud, but that doesn't change the fact that they still will be the worst team in the NFL with no offensive weapons.
