Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger exited Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins with a knee injury. It was of the non-contact variety in the second quarter after he threw an interception.
While Big Ben did return to the game to close it out, it's now being reported that he's going to undergo an MRI on the injured knee.
That's not good news for the Steelers. And that's most definitely not good news for those of you relying on him in the fake football world.
Upon his return, Big Ben clearly wasn't at 100 percent, which led to Miami pulling off a pretty big upset of the Steelers. We likely won't have much more information on the injury until Roethlisberger's MRI results come back, but you might be smart to quickly hit up the waiver wire Monday morning.
Pittsburgh is set to host the New England Patriots in Week 7. It's a home game against a high-flying offense. That's normally an indication Big Ben would have a huge fantasy performance. Should he be forced to sit, it's time to go with plan B.
Let's just hope this isn't a serious long-term injury.
