Aaron Rodgers, Quarterback, Green Bay Packers
Once again, Rodgers lit it up passing for sweet 341 yards against the Philadelphia Eagles in a massive 53-20 win. Another clean game for Rodgers, in Week 11, he added three more passing touchdowns to the 25 he already has on the books for the season. Rewarding his fantasy owners with another solid performance had Rodgers earning 27.3 fantasy points this past week. Rodgers next faces the Minnesota Vikings whom he scored three touchdowns against back in Week 5.
Jay Cutler, Quarterback, Chicago Bears
Posting the second-best quarterback performance from Week 11 is Cutler, surprising as it sounds. Cutler had an impressive 330 yards through the air and passed for three touchdowns, completing 31 or his 48 attempted passes. Had he not had the two interceptions, his fantasy points for Week 11 would have even been higher than the 23.30 he rewarded at the end of his game. Next week has Cutler facing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who’ve allowed the eighth-most fantasy game points to opposing quarterbacks this season.
Jonas Gray, Running Back, New England Patriots
Gray stands in a league of his own as his mind-blowing fantasy performance against the Indianapolis Colts has him the overall leader in fantasy points for Week 11. Topping the charts, Gray rushed for a phenomenal 201 rushing yards and scored four rushing touchdowns. Earning 43.90 fantasy points has Gray the top leader this season for any running back performance thus far. The interesting thing to note here is Gray was likely started in just a small percentage of fantasy leagues, making him THE hot waiver wire target entering into Week 12.
Le’Veon Bell, Running Back, Pittsburgh Steelers
Bell had an incredible game against the Tennessee Titans in Week 11. Offering to fantasy owners his ultimate performance of the season had Bell scoring 30.20 fantasy points in his Monday Night Football game matchup. Breaking the 100-yard rushing mark is always notable by a running back, but how about breaking the 200-yard rushing mark? That’s what Bell did as he tallied up 204 ground yards, scoring one touchdown along the way. Bell takes a much-needed bye week next week to rest those legs, returning back in Week 13 to face the New Orleans Saints.
Jamaal Charles, Running Back, Kansas City Chiefs
Charles crushed it in Week 11 against a Seattle Seahawks defense who really couldn’t do a darn thing to keep Charles in check. Rushing for 159 yards along with 19 receiving yards and two touchdowns had Charles rewarding his owners his second-best performance of the 2014 season. Rushing for an astonishing 8.0 yards per carry, look for Charles’ hot streak to continue against a sketchy Oakland Raiders’ defense in Week 12.
Mike Evans, Wide Receiver, Tamp Bay Buccaneers
If for some reason fantasy owners of Evans are hesitating starting their rookie wide receiver, he has earned a must-start status over the past few weeks. Week 11 had Evans surpassing every wide receiver as he reigned in the highest fantasy points among his class. Catching seven of his nine targets, Evans racked up a staggering 209 receiving yards topped with two touchdown catches. If you believed in Evans to reward once again in Week 11, he absolutely did with 39.90 fantasy points. Evans faces the Chicago Bears who’ve yielded four wide receiver touchdowns in their past three games.
Alshon Jeffery, Wide Receiver, Chicago Bears
Jeffery had a season-high 17 targets in his Week 11 victory against the Minnesota Vikings. Catching 11 of those targets, Jeffery offered his fantasy owners his ultimate performance so far this season. Unfortunately, many owners of Jeffery may have had him sitting as his overall production this season has been sub-par. If you started Jeffery, however, his 135 receiving yards along with one touchdown had him earning 30.5 fantasy points for Week 11. Fantasy owners can remain optimistic that Jeffery’s upswing will continue against Tampa Bay who sports the fifth-worst defense against wide receivers.
Coby Fleener, Tight End, Indianapolis Colts
Out of nowhere in Week 11 came Fleener who racked up a ton of yardage in Sunday’s loss to the New England Patriots. Spot on with a perfect game had Fleener catching seven of seven targets for 144 receiving yards. His best catch of the game was a 22-yarder for which he nearly twisted out of bounds to secure. With fellow tight end Dwayne Allen possibly sidelined in Week 12 with a tweaked ankle, Fleener should continue catching the eye of quarterback Andrew Luck in Week 12 when the Colts play the Jaguars.
Jermaine Gresham, Tight End, Cincinnati Bengals
If fantasy owners had the need to start Gresham, who has been fairly quiet this season in their Week 11 lineups, he paid off sweetly. Posting his best fantasy performance of the season in Week 11 had Gresham scoring two touchdowns as the Bengals torched the New Orleans Saints for a giant win on Sunday. Fortunately for Gresham, he made the most of the lowly three targets that came his way, catching two passes for 13 yards. Thank Gresham for those two precious touchdowns; his only two for the season, because that is what helped earn him those 15.30 fantasy points he rewarded Sunday. Gresham and the Bengals travel to play the Houston Texans in Week 12 who have only allowed three tight end scores so far this season.
